Paul Glickman was born and educated in New York City, and attended the High School of Music and Art. After graduation he decided to take a few years off to journey around the country folk singing and doing odd jobs.

The first college he attended was Mexico City College (now known as the University of the Americas) in Mexico, where he rededicated himself to his art studies. Returning to the U.S. after two years, he spent a short period at Pratt and then focused in on what was to become his occupation for the next twenty years... film. He began his education at New York’s City College and then went on to New York University.

After school, Paul became a cinematographer and head of his own production company based out of New York. During his career he photographed in dozens of countries around the globe, and in most states here in the U.S. His work encompassed children's films, movies for television, commercials, animation, documentaries, as well as feature films (he shot 30 full length movies before retiring to New Mexico). His short subject Angel and Big Joe with Paul Sorvino won an Academy Award.

Although he never stopped taking still pictures, Paul began to seriously concentrate on his photography starting in 2000 when he switched to digital. Paul has been shooting, digitally enhancing, printing, showing and selling his images ever since.
